ABOUT THIS JOB

As the Personal Assistant – Corporate Affairs, you will provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Group Managing Director (GMD). This role ensures the seamless management of corporate schedules, communications, and high-level engagements.

You will be responsible for coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, supporting corporate events, and ensuring efficient information flow across internal and external stakeholders. Your role will also involve handling confidential matters, supporting strategic activities, and ensuring the GMD operates at maximum efficiency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Support

About the RoleWe are seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to provide high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to senior leadership. This role requires discretion, emotional intelligence, precision, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.

This is a trusted partner role, not a reactive support position. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Executive & Administrative Support

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling, and appointments across multiple priorities.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes, and track follow-ups.
  • Handle confidential correspondence, emails, and documentation with discretion.
  • Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Executive Office, including managing filing systems (physical and digital).

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Act as a liaison between leadership and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely execution.
  • Conduct research, prepare briefs, presentations, and reports as required.

Travel & Logistics Management

  • Coordinate local and international travel, including itineraries, accommodation, and logistics.
  • Manage event-related scheduling and executive logistics.

Communication & Representation

  • Draft clear, professional, and well-structured communications on behalf of leadership.
  • Screen calls, manage priorities, and handle sensitive issues with tact and professionalism.

Office & Personal Support

  • Support day-to-day personal and professional administrative needs.
  • Anticipate requirements and proactively resolve issues before escalation.
  • Managing confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives or founders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
