Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Art Sales Executive with a minimum of 3 years experience in sales, preferably within the art, luxury, lifestyle, gallery, interior design, or creative industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling artworks, building strong client relationships, generating leads, and driving revenue growth for the brand.
The candidate should have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a strong understanding of customer relationship management, and a passion for art and creative culture. You will work closely with artists, collectors, galleries, corporate clients, interior designers, and art enthusiasts to promote and sell artworks successfully.
Responsibilities
- Promote and sell artworks to individuals, collectors, businesses, galleries, and corporate clients
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities and partnerships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Conduct client presentations and artwork consultations
- Develop sales strategies to increase artwork sales and revenue
- Attend exhibitions, art fairs, networking events, and client meetings
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and prospective buyers
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to promote artworks and campaigns
- Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales reports
- Understand customer preferences and recommend suitable artworks
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support
- Stay updated on art market trends, pricing, and competitor activities
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years proven sales experience
- Experience in art sales, gallery sales, luxury products, real estate, interior décor, or creative industry is an advantage
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships with high-value clients
- Excellent presentation and networking abilities
- Goal-oriented with strong sales closing skills
- Good understanding of customer relationship management
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Passion for art, creativity, and culture
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools
- Social media and digital marketing knowledge is an added advantage
Qualifications
- OND, Bachelor’s degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Arts, Mass Communication, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience required
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
