JOB SUMMARY
Drives business growth by delivering a comprehensive range of trust products and services to prospective and existing clients. Expands both corporate and private trust portfolios, strengthens client relationships, increases assets under management, and implements effective marketing and sales strategies in line with organizational objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Broadens scope of business development activities for trustees across corporate and private trust services.
- Develops and manages portfolio of high net worth Individuals (HNIs) for retail trust products.
- Prospects for new corporate trust accounts and group schemes, including employee gratuity and welfare schemes.
- Identifies, engages, and onboards target corporate clients and private individuals for trust and fund placement services.
- Mobilizes liabilities and drives growth in the firm’s assets under management (AUM).
Client Relationship Management
- Oversees and manages relationships with both corporate and private trust clients.
- Ensures effective relationship management of existing clients to drive retention and repeat business.
- Provides informed advisory support to clients on trust products and services to enhance operational and financial outcomes.
- Identifies client needs and collaborates internally to facilitate the development of suitable products and services.
Sales, Marketing & Strategy
- Prepares and delivers business presentations to prospective and existing clients.
- Designs and implements appropriate marketing and business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensures effective and efficient deployment of marketing initiatives across target segments.
- Identifies and segments target markets for the firm’s products and services.
- Negotiates pricing of services and rates within management-approved thresholds and service standards.
Leadership & Market Intelligence
- Demonstrates strong business acumen in identifying, interpreting, and leveraging market opportunities.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry contacts.
- Provides market insights and contributes to strategic decision-making to support business growth.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Finance, Economics, or related field from a reputable institution.
- A Master’s degree and/or relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 5 – 8 years’ relevant experience in the financial services industry.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of trust products, financial services, and client portfolio management.
- Ability to develop and execute business development and marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
