Full job description
- We are seeking an experienced lawyer to join our team to supervise administration, compliance, and legal affairs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a legal policy to protect the company's interests
- Supervise ongoing legal cases
- Develop a risk/compliance monitoring system
- Register and protect company IP
- Create and monitor policies to ensure full compliance with local regulation
- Draft and issue legal letters on behalf of the company
- Ensure statutory filings and payments are made
- Review current data handling policy and ensure compliance with data laws
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience
- Should live in or near Lekki Phase 1
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Must demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Should be willing to work with the company long term
- Should be able to work on some weekends and public holidays
- Working Days: 23 days a month.
