We’re Hiring: Unit Manager (Insurance / Financial Services)

Lagos State, Nigeria

Are you a high-performing sales professional with leadership capacity and a passion for driving results? We are looking for a dynamic Unit Manager to lead, grow, and manage a productive sales team within the insurance and financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the sales of Life Insurance, Personalized Investment Products, Pure Protection Plans, Endowment Products, and Annuity for Life (Pension) solutions.
• Drive pension (Annuity) conversions for newly retired and existing retirees from private companies and State/Federal Government organizations.
• Prospect and secure new business opportunities across multinationals and corporate organizations within Lagos State.
• Submit proposals and close investment-linked and protection plan deals.
• Ensure consistent premium collection and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand market penetration and increase revenue.
• Recruit, manage, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve set targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an insurance company or sales role within a financial institution.
• Must have an existing sales team OR demonstrate the ability to quickly build and lead one.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and persuasive skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Resilient, target-driven, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• HND or BSc in any discipline from a reputable institution (within or outside Nigeria).
