About the Role

We are seeking a world-class Executive Assistant to the Founders, similar in caliber to an EA at top-tier firms such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or leading technology companies. This individual will provide strategic, operational, and administrative support to the founders of a fast-growing digital health and AI-enabled organization operating across multiple geographies.

This is not a traditional administrative role: it requires exceptional judgment, ownership, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage complex priorities in a fast-moving environment.

The right candidate anticipates needs before they arise, thrives under pressure, communicates crisply, and ensures the Founders’ time, focus, and execution are aligned with organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities1. Executive Support & Time Leadership

  • Manage complex calendars across multiple time zones; proactively resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure the founders are fully briefed and prepared for meetings, including pre-read documents, talking points, and follow-up actions.
  • Drive time prioritization based on strategic priorities, and protect focus time.
  • Manage sensitive communications and maintain strict confidentiality.

2. Communications & Coordination

  • Draft high-quality emails, memos, and presentations on behalf of the founders.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the founders and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate communication.
  • Follow up on open items and action points with teams to ensure timely execution.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Build and manage systems that improve the efficiency of the founders’ workflows (e.g., trackers, dashboards, document management, meeting notes).
  • Coordinate travel logistics end-to-end across multiple countries.
  • Maintain organized records, files, and documentation across platforms.
  • Support special projects where precision and speed matter.

4. Strategic Support

  • Conduct background research, synthesize information, and prepare briefing notes.
  • Support preparation for board meetings, donor meetings, investor conversations, and key presentations.
  • Help drive follow-ups on strategic initiatives, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

5. Culture, Professionalism, and Representation

  • Represent the founders with extreme professionalism, maturity, and discretion.
  • Maintain a calm, solutions-oriented demeanor at all times.
  • Model high performance, reliability, and impeccable work ethic.

Qualifications Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5–8+ years supporting C-suite executives or senior partners in demanding organizations (top-tier consulting, high-growth startups, investment firms, etc.).
  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Mastery of productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, project management tools, document versioning systems).
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent judgment, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
  • Evidence of producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.

Preferred

  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Background in digital health, technology, consulting, or social impact organizations.
  • Ability to analyze information, synthesize it clearly, and support decision-making.
  • Strong research skills and ability to produce crisp briefs.

Success Metrics

  • Founders consistently feel informed, prepared, and supported.
  • Zero missed deadlines, dropped balls, or errors in communication.
  • Increased productivity and strategic focus of the founders.
  • Improved coordination, meeting quality, and follow-through across the organization.
  • Professional, timely representation of the founders with internal and external stakeholders.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work directly with visionary founders driving AI-enabled health transformation across Africa and globally.
  • A fast-paced, mission-driven environment with room for growth.
  • Remote, flexible work environment.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
