A startup requiring a Basic Programming and HTML/CSS Tutor

We are looking for a passionate and patient Basic Programming and HTML/CSS Tutor to teach beginners and intermediate learners the fundamentals of programming logic and web development using HTML & CSS. You will create engaging learning experiences, both online and in-person, helping students build real projects and gain confidence in coding.

Key Responsibilities

Teach basic programming concepts (variables, data types, control structures, functions, logic, etc.) using beginner-friendly languages like Python, JavaScript, or Scratch.

Deliver clear and practical HTML5 & CSS3 lessons covering responsive design, Flexbox, Grid, animations, and modern web standards.

Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and hands-on projects.

Conduct live classes, workshops, webinars, and one-on-one mentoring sessions.

Review student code, provide constructive feedback, and track student progress.

Create supplementary video tutorials, coding exercises, and learning resources.

Help students build simple portfolio projects (personal websites, landing pages, etc.).

Stay updated with current web development trends and teaching methodologies.

Support curriculum development and improvement of our programming courses.

Requirements & Qualifications

1–4 years of teaching/tutoring experience in programming or web development.

Strong mastery of HTML5, CSS3, and basic programming fundamentals (JavaScript is a big plus).

Experience teaching absolute beginners and young adults is highly desirable.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, relatable ways.

Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about helping students succeed.

Experience with e-learning platforms (Google Classroom, Moodle, Zoom, etc.) is an advantage.
