Job Summary

Startup Company looking for a Senior PHP Developer. We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PHP development. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of PHP7 and PHP8, along with expertise in Smarty template engine. In addition to advanced PHP skills, the candidate should be proficient in Linux server administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance PHP web applications.
  • Design and implement scalable and robust features using PHP7 and PHP8.
  • Utilize Smarty template engine to create efficient and maintainable templates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Administer Linux servers, ensuring smooth deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify and resolve performance and security issues in PHP applications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance development processes

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with other web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Familiarity with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding of web security best practices.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Proficiency in PHP7 and PHP8, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with Smarty template engine.
  • Solid understanding of Linux server administration.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
