ABOUT THIS JOB
As the Front Desk Officer, you will serve as the first point of contact for the organisation. This role ensures a professional, welcoming, and well-managed front office environment.
You will be responsible for managing visitors, handling communications, coordinating basic administrative tasks, and maintaining a positive first impression of the organisation. Your role will also involve supporting internal coordination and ensuring smooth front desk operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Front Desk & Visitor Management
- Manage reception operations and ensure a professional welcome experience
- Handle visitor check-ins, inquiries, and access coordination
- Maintain a structured and organised front desk environment
Communication & Coordination
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Serve as a communication link between departments
- Ensure accurate and timely message routing across teams
Administrative Support
- Maintain front desk logs, records, and basic documentation systems
- Support scheduling of meetings and room bookings
- Assist with basic administrative tasks across departments.
Office Coordination
- Ensure reception area remains organised and presentable at all times
- Monitor office supplies related to front desk operations
- Support general office coordination where required
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2–4 years experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing role.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and behaviour.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office tools.
- Good organisational ability.
