ABOUT THIS JOB

As the Front Desk Officer, you will serve as the first point of contact for the organisation. This role ensures a professional, welcoming, and well-managed front office environment.

You will be responsible for managing visitors, handling communications, coordinating basic administrative tasks, and maintaining a positive first impression of the organisation. Your role will also involve supporting internal coordination and ensuring smooth front desk operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Front Desk & Visitor Management

  • Manage reception operations and ensure a professional welcome experience
  • Handle visitor check-ins, inquiries, and access coordination
  • Maintain a structured and organised front desk environment

Communication & Coordination

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
  • Serve as a communication link between departments
  • Ensure accurate and timely message routing across teams

Administrative Support

  • Maintain front desk logs, records, and basic documentation systems
  • Support scheduling of meetings and room bookings
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks across departments.

Office Coordination

  • Ensure reception area remains organised and presentable at all times
  • Monitor office supplies related to front desk operations
  • Support general office coordination where required

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2–4 years experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing role.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance and behaviour.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office tools.
  • Good organisational ability.
