ROLE SUMMARY
The Field Operations Officer will be responsible for onboarding and supporting merchants/sellers, ensuring smooth marketplace operations, and coordinating field activities. The role involves regular visits to markets and business locations, ensuring quality standards, and supporting order fulfillment processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Onboard and verify new merchants/sellers on the platform
- Conduct regular visits to markets and business locations
- Support product listing and seller setup processes
- Coordinate order fulfillment and logistics activities
- Perform basic quality checks on products before dispatch
- Prepare and submit daily operational reports
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and partners
REQUIREMENTS
- Must possess an internet-enabled device (smartphone or tablet)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in the field and visiting market locations
- Basic knowledge of smartphones and digital tools
- Highly organized, reliable, and proactive
- Prior experience in sales, operations, or field roles is an added advantage
