Fashion Production & Quality Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Quality Control & Tailoring Supervisor to oversee garment production, ensure consistent quality standards, and coordinate tailors during production. This role is hands-on and requires someone with strong garment construction knowledge, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to enforce standards across multiple pieces and production stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise tailors and production staff during daily operations
• Inspect garments at every stage (cutting, sewing, finishing)
• Ensure all pieces meet brand quality standards before approval
• Identify and correct construction errors early in production
• Maintain consistency in sizing, stitching, finishing, and fit
• Communicate corrections clearly to tailors and track improvements
• Organize workflow between cutting, sewing, and finishing stages
• Maintain production records and quality check logs
• Support sampling process and pre production approvals
• Ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality

Requirements

• Experience in garment construction, tailoring, or fashion production
• Strong understanding of fabric behavior, sewing techniques, and finishing
• Previous experience supervising tailors or production teams (preferred)
• High attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to give clear instructions and enforce standards
• Reliable, organized, and hands-on approach
• Ability to work in a fast paced production environment
• Experience in luxury or small fashion brands
• Pattern making knowledge
• Experience with sizing consistency systems
• Familiarity with production scaling
