Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to identify, engage, and close opportunities with clients in need of software solutions and technology services. You will play a key role in driving revenue by understanding client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and managing relationships across the sales lifecycle — from lead generation to closing deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify new business leads through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, and events.
- Prepare and deliver product demos and sales presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create and follow up on proposals, RFQs, and sales documentation.
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
- Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proper handoff and solution alignment.
- Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the company at conferences, webinars, or networking events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in B2B tech or SaaS sales.
- Solid understanding of software products (e.g., SaaS, web apps, enterprise platforms, APIs).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in sales tools and CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce).
- Ability to grasp technical concepts and explain them to a non-technical audience.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or in teams.
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Technical certifications or training (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Scrum, HubSpot Sales).
- Prior work with clients in fintech, edtech, healthtech, or logistics sectors.
