JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Content Planner to support the development, planning, and execution of content across digital platforms. The role involves researching industry trends and audience insights, maintaining structured content calendars, and creating high-quality written content that aligns with brand messaging. The Content Planner will work closely with Community Managers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure content is engaging, consistent, and optimized for audience interaction and visibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Develop and execute content strategies that align with brand positioning, audience insights, and marketing objectives.
· Research industry trends, audience behaviors, and competitor strategies to inform content direction.
· Plan and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistency and strategic messaging across platforms.
· Write and edit high-quality content for various formats, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, brand storytelling, and advertising materials.
· Collaborate closely with Community Managers to develop content that fosters engagement, conversations, and community growth.
· Support Community Managers by crafting messaging that encourages organic interactions and strengthens brand relationships.
· Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, and social media managers to create multimedia content that enhances audience engagement.
· Ensure content aligns with the brand’s tone, voice, and messaging strategy.
· Optimize content for audience engagement and search visibility (SEO).
· Track content performance and recommend improvements based on data insights.
· Stay up-to-date with content marketing trends, audience behavior shifts, and emerging digital platforms.
EDUCATION:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Media Studies, or a related field from a recognized institution.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
· 1–3 years of experience in content planning, content writing, digital marketing, or a similar creative role.
· Experience developing content for social media, blogs, websites, or marketing campaigns.
· Experience collaborating with creative, community management, or digital teams is an added advantage.
· Experience in advertising or community-driven content is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
· Strong understanding of content marketing principles, audience engagement, and brand storytelling.
· Familiarity with SEO basics and content optimization techniques.
· Understanding of content calendars, social media trends, and platform-specific content formats.
· Ability to use analytics tools to interpret content performance and suggest improvements.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic project management tools.
· Basic knowledge of creative workflows and collaboration with design and social media teams.

· Communication Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and brand-aligned content.
