Role Overview:
The Head of Human Resources will lead and oversee all HR functions within the organization, ensuring the effective management of talent, compliance with policies and regulations, and alignment of HR strategies with overall business objectives. The role is responsible for driving organizational culture, performance management, employee engagement, and workforce planning to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes to ensure timely hiring of qualified candidates.
- Manage performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and employee evaluations.
- Lead employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment and timely resolution of workplace issues.
- Drive learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Oversee compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal HR policies.
- Manage organizational structure, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Partner with department heads to support staffing needs and team development.
- Champion organizational culture, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Provide HR analytics and reports to support management decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or CIPD is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5–10 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
