ZONAL COORDINATOR – NGO

Location: South-South Zone – Cross River, Akwa Ibom & Rivers
Salary: ₦125,000 Net Monthly
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: Minimum 2 years NGO experience

We are recruiting two Zonal Coordinators for a reputable NGO/Foundation to oversee and coordinate programmes and beneficiary activities within their assigned zone.

The ideal candidate should have practical NGO experience, strong field coordination skills, excellent reporting abilities, and the ability to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate on-site activities in line with Foundation directives.
  • Conduct monthly home visits to beneficiaries, including widows, orphans and children of widows.
  • Conduct regular school visits and quarterly educational assessments for scholarship beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate and monitor beneficiary loan applications, repayment plans and supported businesses.
  • Monitor and report on beneficiaries’ health and general welfare.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date beneficiary records.
  • Prepare and submit detailed monthly and quarterly programme reports.
  • Organise and facilitate training sessions and meetings for beneficiaries.
  • Coordinate the collection and submission of school bills to Head Office.
  • Prepare biannual programme budgets and ensure proper expenditure documentation and retirement.
  • Provide content for quarterly newsletters.
  • Ensure effective implementation of all Foundation programmes within the assigned zone.

Requirements

  • OND, HND, BSc or BA in Social Sciences, Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ practical NGO work experience.
  • Strong fieldwork, coordination and beneficiary-management skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong reporting, documentation and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple field activities.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned zone.

IMPORTANT LOCATION REQUIREMENT

Applicants must currently reside in one of the following states:

Cross River State
Akwa Ibom State
Rivers State
