Location: Remote (Nigeria)

Type: Full-time (8 hours per day), Remote

Compensation: 120,000–140,000 NGN per month (based on experience and complexity handled)

Platforms: TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts

About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Short-Form Video Editor to produce short-form videos at scale using CapCut, based on provided formats, references and instructions.

In this role, you will spend the majority of your day editing and assembling short videos that are designed to look natural, realistic and platform-native. The work is structured and repetitive, with a focus on accuracy, pacing and consistency rather than creativity.

This is not a content ideation role and not a personal branding role. Your responsibility is execution: turning provided inputs into clean, ready-to-publish short-form videos.

What You Will Do

  • Produce short-form videos daily using CapCut
  • Follow provided formats, examples and instructions precisely
  • Work with text, captions, voiceovers and visuals
  • Edit both simple formats and more complex, scene-based or narrative shorts
  • Adjust pacing, timing, cuts and structure to keep videos natural and engaging
  • Maintain consistency across repeated formats
  • Deliver clean, ready-to-publish videos at scale
  • Update task status and confirm daily output

This is factory-style production work. Accuracy, realism and consistency matter more than creativity.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of CapCut at a production level
  • Confident use of the timeline, layers, cuts and timing
  • Experience working with templates and modifying them correctly
  • Ability to add, adjust and animate text layers and captions
  • Ability to sync text and visuals accurately to voice or audio
  • Attention to small details that affect flow, realism and retention
  • Comfortable working with repetitive formats and high volume
  • Clear English communication
  • Ability to work full-time (8 hours per day)
  • Laptop or desktop computer required (phone-only editors will not qualify)
  • Stable internet connection (backup connection preferred)
