Full Stack Laravel Developer

Location: Abuja, Nigeria (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Genuine Media Ltd is seeking a skilled Full Stack Laravel Developer to join our Abuja team and help build BetGenuine.com and FootballNigeria.com.

We are developing football-focused platforms that include live scores, statistics, player profiles, league databases, prediction systems, subscriptions, content management, and fan engagement features.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain web applications using Laravel, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Develop APIs, backend services, and database systems.
  • Build responsive user interfaces and interactive dashboards.
  • Integrate football data providers and third-party services.
  • Improve website speed, security, and scalability.
  • Develop user accounts, subscription systems, and community features.
  • Maintain technical documentation for completed projects and updates.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Laravel and PHP.
  • Experience building and maintaining large websites or web applications.
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL, APIs, JavaScript, Git, and modern web development practices.
  • Ability to build both frontend and backend systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional development experience preferred.
  • Experience building or contributing to platforms similar in complexity to Forebet, Sky Sports, Flashscore, SofaScore, or other sports data and media websites is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of football data, statistics, odds, and betting platforms.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Livewire, Vue.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Redis, Linux, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience building sports, statistics, media, membership, or data-driven platforms.
