We’re Hiring: Project Manager (Launch Program)
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: N700,000 - N800,000 (Negotiable)
Job Summary
Our client in the technical and vocational education sector is seeking a highly organized and execution-driven Project Manager to lead the successful launch of a transformative education initiative.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, can coordinate multiple workstreams, manage diverse stakeholders, and turn strategic plans into measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an integrated project launch plan across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely escalation of issues.
- Drive operational and facility readiness for launch.
- Coordinate vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Support student recruitment, admissions, and onboarding activities.
- Track curriculum development, instructor onboarding, and programme readiness.
- Coordinate partnerships with employers, schools, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare project dashboards, status reports, meeting documentation, and executive updates.
- Ensure accountability by following up on action items and maintaining project trackers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations, Engineering, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, programme coordination, operations, implementation, startup launches, education operations, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong planning, organisational, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive execution with minimal supervision.
- Experience working within the Nigerian business environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in education, vocational training, EdTech, workforce development, startup operations, or NGO programme implementation.
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Asana, ClickUp, Trello, Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Notion, or similar tools.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or other project management certifications are an added advantage.
