Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of patients for echocardiographic examinations.
• Obtain relevant patient history and clinical information before examinations.
• Assist qualified medical personnel with 2D, M-Mode and Doppler echocardiography procedures under supervision.
• Learn and apply appropriate patient positioning and basic echocardiographic techniques.
• Assist in acquiring and recording quality cardiac images and measurements.
• Support the documentation and proper storage of echocardiography findings and patient records.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity and confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure echocardiography equipment, probes and examination areas are properly prepared and maintained.
• Observe appropriate infection prevention and control procedures.
• Assist with routine equipment checks and promptly report equipment faults.
• Work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, medical officers and other members of the clinical team.
• Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols and professional standards.
• Participate in departmental learning, case reviews and other training activities.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by the supervising clinician or department.

Requirements

• Degree, diploma or relevant qualification in Cardiology, Medical Sonography, , Biomedical Sciences or a related healthcare field.
• Basic knowledge of human anatomy, physiology and cardiovascular anatomy.
• Basic understanding of ultrasound principles and echocardiography.
• Demonstrated interest in cardiac imaging and cardiovascular diagnostics.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Good computer and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and professional ethics.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
