Full job description

We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Hospital Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe dispensing of medications, providing pharmaceutical care, and supporting patients with accurate medication information and counselling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Review prescriptions to ensure appropriateness, dosage accuracy, and identify potential drug interactions.
  • Provide medication counselling and educate patients on proper medication use.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock management.
  • Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, policies, and standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Valid practicing license.
  • Registered with the appropriate Pharmacy regulatory body.
  • Minimum of 2years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Pay: ₦350,000.00 - ₦450,000.00 per month
