Position: Executive Driver

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly reliable Executive Driver to provide safe, discreet, and efficient transportation services to an executive. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience driving for senior executives, possess excellent knowledge of Lagos roads, and demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, comfortable, and timely transportation for the executive.
  • Drive the executive to and from meetings, business appointments, official engagements, and other destinations as required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the executive's movements, schedules, business activities, and personal information.
  • Plan routes effectively and identify alternative routes to avoid traffic delays.
  • Maintain a high level of punctuality and ensure timely arrival at scheduled destinations.
  • Monitor traffic conditions and use appropriate navigation tools to determine the most efficient routes.
  • Conduct daily checks on the assigned vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy and properly maintained.
  • Coordinate vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, insurance, and other necessary documentation.
  • Keep the vehicle clean, neat, and presentable at all times.
  • Ensure compliance with all road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Maintain accurate records of fuel usage, servicing, repairs, and other vehicle-related expenses.
  • Assist with luggage, documents, or other items when required.
  • Remain flexible with working hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
  • Perform other driving-related duties assigned by the executive or management.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as an Executive/Personal Driver, preferably supporting senior executives or high-profile individuals.
  • Valid Nigerian driver's licence.
  • Excellent knowledge of Lagos roads, particularly Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lekki, and surrounding areas.
  • Proven record of safe and defensive driving.
  • Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional appearance, good personal hygiene, and courteous conduct.
  • Strong punctuality, reliability, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Must be physically fit and medically capable of performing the duties of the role.
  • Clean driving record with no history of serious traffic violations or reckless driving.
  • Candidates with experience driving luxury or executive vehicles will be an advantage.
