Job Responsibilities

  • Welcome and attend to customers promptly, courteously, and professionally in line with the company’s service standards.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, either at the counter, table, or through the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Provide customers with clear information on menu items, prices, combos, promotions, and available offers.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including soft drinks, juices, mocktails, coffee, and other approved beverages, according to company standards.
  • Ensure all beverages are prepared, presented, and served promptly and consistently.
  • Proactively recommend add-ons, combos, upgrades, and promotional offers to increase sales.
  • Maintain a friendly and engaging attitude while interacting with customers and contribute to a positive dining experience.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests, questions, and complaints, escalating issues to the Supervisor or Manager when necessary.
  • Process customer payments accurately through the POS system, including cash, debit/credit cards, and other approved payment methods.
  • Handle cash responsibly, issue accurate change and receipts, and ensure proper reconciliation of transactions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked beverage and service station throughout the shift.
  • Monitor stock levels of beverages, cups, lids, straws, napkins, condiments, ice, and other service supplies and report shortages promptly.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, rotating, and monitoring beverage and service-related inventory.
  • Maintain proper food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, counters, and service areas promptly to ensure the restaurant remains clean and welcoming.
  • Ensure all service equipment, utensils, glassware, and other operating items are clean and properly stored.
  • Follow all company procedures relating to portion control, product handling, waste management, hygiene, and customer service.
  • Assist the wider restaurant team during busy periods, including order taking, packing orders, dining-area service, cleaning, and other operational duties as required.
  • Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking, equipment checks, and securing the service area.
  • Report equipment faults, stock discrepancies, customer incidents, and other operational issues promptly to the Supervisor or Manager.
  • Support scheduled stock counts and inventory checks as required.
  • Work effectively with kitchen, front-of-house, delivery, and management teams to ensure fast and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Maintain speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and excellent customer service during peak operating periods.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a QSR, restaurant, café, pizzeria, fast-food, hospitality, or related customer-service environment.
  • Previous experience handling POS systems and customer payments is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of beverage preparation and front-of-house service.
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately in a busy, high-volume environment.
  • Good numeracy and cash-handling skills.
  • Ability to upsell menu items, combos, promotions, and add-ons.
  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Good personal hygiene and a neat, professional appearance.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and during peak business periods.
  • Positive attitude, customer-focused mindset, and willingness to learn.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦120,000.00 per month
