Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Greet customers, seat them, and provide a welcoming, attentive atmosphere.
  • Order Management: Take accurate food and drink orders, use POS systems, and communicate with kitchen staff.
  • Menu Knowledge: Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations.
  • Service & Table Maintenance: Serve food/drinks, clear tables, and maintain a tidy, clean dining area.
  • Financial Duties: Deliver checks and process payments (cash/card).
  • Safety & Hygiene: Follow food safety regulations and check IDs for age-restricted beverages.

Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress.
  • Skills: Strong communication, active listening, and basic math skills.
  • Technical: Familiarity with POS ordering software.
  • Attributes: Patient, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical: Ability to stand/walk for long periods and carry heavy trays.
