NOW HIRING: WAITER

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary

We are seeking a courteous, professional, and customer-focused Waiter to join our Restaurant & Bar team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent dining service, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold the company’s standards of hospitality and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and present menus professionally.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently and according to established service standards.
  • Attend to guests’ requests, enquiries, and complaints professionally.
  • Ensure tables, dining areas, and service stations are clean, organized, and properly set up.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Process bills and payments accurately where required.
  • Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and other service team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, grooming, and customer service standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE; additional hospitality training is an advantage.
  • Previous experience as a waiter or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good personal hygiene, grooming, and professional appearance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive attitude, honesty, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
