Full job description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR officer to manage and oversee all human resource functions within our dynamic PR agency. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement.
Location: Lekki Phase 1
Work Schedule Hybrid
Salary: N200,000 - N250,000

Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement HR policies and ensure compliance with labour laws and company regulations.
- Manage employee relations, addressing grievances, and fostering a positive work culture.
- Handle payroll processing, leave management, and other employee benefits administration.
- Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback sessions.
- Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and documentation.
- Coordinate team bonding activities and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including HR documentation, data entry, and HR system updates.
Requirements
- 1-2 years in an HR-related role (experience in recruitment, employee relations, or administrative HR tasks is a plus).
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. ∙ While certification is not compulsory, any HR-related certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or similar) is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interest in HR and employee management.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the HR field.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Proactive, self-starter with a positive attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦220,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Lagos: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
