Job Summary
The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates across all departments of Uncle Stan's Foods. The role ensures the company maintains a strong talent pipeline to support its growth, operational excellence, and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, recruitment agencies, career fairs, and networking events.
- Create and publish job advertisements for various positions.
- Build and maintain a talent pool for current and future staffing needs.
Candidate Screening & Selection
- Review applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
- Coordinate assessment tests and interview schedules.
- Verify candidate qualifications, references, and employment history.
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for final consideration.
Hiring Process Management
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy approval to onboarding.
- Ensure timely filling of vacancies across all departments and branches.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate employment documentation.
- Maintain recruitment records and applicant databases.
Employer Branding
- Promote Uncle Stan's Foods as an employer of choice.
- Manage recruitment-related social media campaigns and job postings.
- Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and community engagement initiatives.
- Build relationships with universities, vocational institutions, and recruitment partners.
Reporting & Analytics
- Track recruitment metrics such as:
- Time-to-fill
- Cost-per-hire
- Offer acceptance rate
- Employee retention rate
- Source effectiveness
- Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports.
- Recommend improvements to recruitment processes based on data and trends.
Compliance
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and labor regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
- Ensure fair and unbiased hiring practices.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience
- 2-5 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience recruiting for QSR, hospitality, retail, FMCG, or food service operations is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of recruitment platforms and social media sourcing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month
