Job Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates across all departments of Uncle Stan's Foods. The role ensures the company maintains a strong talent pipeline to support its growth, operational excellence, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  • Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, recruitment agencies, career fairs, and networking events.
  • Create and publish job advertisements for various positions.
  • Build and maintain a talent pool for current and future staffing needs.

Candidate Screening & Selection

  • Review applications and shortlist suitable candidates.
  • Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews.
  • Coordinate assessment tests and interview schedules.
  • Verify candidate qualifications, references, and employment history.
  • Present qualified candidates to hiring managers for final consideration.

Hiring Process Management

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy approval to onboarding.
  • Ensure timely filling of vacancies across all departments and branches.
  • Prepare employment offers and coordinate employment documentation.
  • Maintain recruitment records and applicant databases.

Employer Branding

  • Promote Uncle Stan's Foods as an employer of choice.
  • Manage recruitment-related social media campaigns and job postings.
  • Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Build relationships with universities, vocational institutions, and recruitment partners.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Track recruitment metrics such as:
  • Time-to-fill
  • Cost-per-hire
  • Offer acceptance rate
  • Employee retention rate
  • Source effectiveness
  • Prepare weekly and monthly recruitment reports.
  • Recommend improvements to recruitment processes based on data and trends.

Compliance

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and labor regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
  • Ensure fair and unbiased hiring practices.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience.
  • Experience recruiting for QSR, hospitality, retail, FMCG, or food service operations is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of recruitment platforms and social media sourcing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Pay: ₦250,000.00 - ₦350,000.00 per month
