Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Lagos

Work Mode: Part time / Project based, 6 months

Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end development and launch of the business in partnership with an international manufacturing partner.

The role involves overseeing product development, regulatory approvals, supply chain coordination, and market entry strategy while building and managing the operational team. The successful candidate will ensure the brand moves from concept to market launch within the approved project budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end launch of the cosmetics and skincare business within approved timelines and budget.
  • Coordinate with international manufacturing partners on product development and production.
  • Manage regulatory approvals including NAFDAC registration and licensing requirements.
  • Develop and oversee supply chain and logistics operations from production to distribution.
  • Build and manage the operational team including sales, marketing, and distribution personnel.
  • Develop distribution channels and market entry strategies.
  • Establish pricing strategies and commercial frameworks.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure financial discipline within the project budget.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activities across operations, marketing, and logistics.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to leadership on project progress.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A Master’s degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations management.
  • Experience launching products within FMCG, cosmetics, or consumer goods industries is desirable.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects or business units.

Core Skills & Functional Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics operations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory processes such as NAFDAC approvals.
  • Ability to manage product development and manufacturing partnerships.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience building and managing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen including pricing and distribution strategy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of FMCG or cosmetics value chain.
  • Understanding of product distribution networks in Nigeria.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing partnerships and outsourcing models.

Pay: ₦500,000.00 - ₦700,000.00 per month
