Nigeria continues to bear one of the highest burdens of maternal, newborn and child mortality globally. Many of these deaths are preventable through the provision of high-quality, evidence-based reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health plus nutrition (RMNCAH+N) services, timely referral, and functional emergency obstetric and newborn care.
