Job Title: Civil Engineer (Oil & Gas Construction)

Location: Lagos (Hybrid)
Salary: ₦450,000 – ₦600,000 Monthly Net

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to manage and supervise construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered according to approved designs, quality standards, timelines, budgets, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, artisans, and site personnel for effective project execution.
• Monitor project progress, materials, equipment, and manpower utilisation.
• Inspect construction works to ensure required quality and technical standards are maintained.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders and support project handover activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in civil construction, site engineering, or project execution.
• Experience in construction and Oil & Gas projects is required.
• COREN membership or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction, site supervision, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and safe construction practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant project management software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and site-based environment.
