Job Description:

Organizing and backing young people to solve problems in their communities because ‘it is well’ will not fix Nigeria, Solutions Will. We are like the GoFundMe for community development with a validations twist. We like to say we are producing the next generation of problem solvers for Nigeria. We have 2 broad deliverables: Bank the Solutions and Bank the Donors. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Partnership resource that can drive these deliverables.

About the Role

We seek an experienced, hands-on and results-oriented Partnership Manager to lead the organization's partnership development and stakeholder engagement efforts specifically closing institutional and individual donors. The successful candidate will identify, cultivate, manage, and strengthen strategic partnerships that support our mission, mobilize resources, expand program reach, and enhance organizational sustainability.

They possess excellent negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills, are proactive in identifying opportunities, and can effectively coordinate multiple partnerships simultaneously. The candidate should be highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about creating sustainable social impact.

Key Responsibilities

Partnership Development & Resource Mobilization

· Identify and pursue strategic partnership opportunities with corporate organizations, development agencies, foundations, government institutions, and other key stakeholders.

· Develop and implement partnership strategies that align with our mission and organizational priorities.

· Prepare compelling partnership proposals, concept notes, sponsorship packages, and presentations.

· Support fundraising initiatives by securing financial and in-kind partnerships for programs and organizational growth.

· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective partners and donors.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

· Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners and maintain long-term relationships.

· Coordinate regular engagement meetings, partnership reviews, and stakeholder communications.

· Ensure partners receive timely updates, reports, and recognition in accordance with partnership agreements.

· Represent NaijaSolve at meetings, conferences, networking events, and stakeholder engagements.

Partnership Management & Program Support

· Negotiate and coordinate partnership agreements, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), and collaboration frameworks.

· Work closely with program teams to ensure successful implementation of partnership commitments.

· Track partnership deliverables, milestones, and impact metrics.

· Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to maximize partner value and program effectiveness.

Strategy, Reporting & Communications

· Maintain an up-to-date partnership database and records.

· Prepare periodic partnership performance reports and dashboards for management and Partners.

· Monitor trends within the nonprofit, CSR, philanthropy, and development sectors to identify new collaboration opportunities.

· Support organizational visibility through strategic partner communications and joint initiatives.

Requirements

· Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in partnerships, resource mobilization, or business development within the NGO/non-profit sector, international development, or social enterprise ecosystem in Nigeria.

· Track Record: A documented history of securing grants, corporate sponsorships, or institutional funding partnerships.

· Network: Contacts within corporate Nigeria (CSR heads), international development partners (e.g., USAID, FCDO, UNDP, etc.).

· Strategic Models Familiarity: Deep understanding of crowdfunding, mobile money integration frameworks, and co-investment models. Experience managing public sector collaborations is a massive plus.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in international relations, Development Studies, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

· Demonstrated experience developing and managing strategic partnerships.

· Excellent grant & proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.

· Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.

· Passion for social impact, innovation, and community development.
