Full job description
Open Banking Nigeria (the Open Technology Foundation) builds the open banking infrastructure that lets Nigerians securely share their financial data and access better services. We set the standards, run the community, and push the ecosystem forward.
We're hiring a Program Manager to own the planning, coordination, and delivery of our programmes and day-to-day operations. This is a broad, high-ownership role for someone who can run things without being told how.
What you'll do
- Plan and coordinate OBN's open banking projects end to end, including managing contractors and consultants when needed.
- Serve as the working-level point of contact for members, regulators, and industry stakeholders, and manage the foundation's correspondence.
- Publish thought leadership content across the blog and social media to drive engagement and educate the market on open banking.
- Own the Open Banking in Africa resource hub and keep it up to date.
- Handle payments and financial administration for the foundation's activities.
- Support the foundation's events, community, and day-to-day operations as needed.
What we're looking for
- Experience running programmes or projects independently, ideally in fintech, a nonprofit, or a fast-moving organisation.
- A self-starter who can set their own priorities and deliver without close supervision.
- Strong writer, comfortable producing clear, credible content on financial and technical topics.
- Confident engaging regulators, senior stakeholders, and members.
- Interest in open banking, open finance, or the Nigerian fintech ecosystem.
Details
- Fully remote. Applicants based in Lagos are preferred.
Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦250,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lagos
