Role: Communications Manager

Location: Ifako – Ogudu, Lagos

Employment Type: Hybrid

Institution: NGO

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with the Church’s vision and strategic priorities.
  • Provide strategic communication advice to senior leadership and translate leadership direction into clear, timely messaging.
  • Protect and strengthen the Church’s brand, voice, public image, and reputation across all platforms and locations.
  • Lead communication strategies and campaigns for conferences, church-wide initiatives, evangelism, events, giving campaigns, and other ministry programmes.
  • Oversee creative and content development, including graphic design, video, photography, social media, website, publications, email, and digital campaigns.
  • Establish effective communication systems, workflows, and standards to ensure accurate and timely information flow across the ministry.
  • Develop strategies to increase audience engagement, digital growth, visitor experience, and member retention.
  • Monitor communication performance, analyze engagement data, and provide reports and recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead, develop, and manage the Communications Team, including creative, digital, media, and volunteer personnel.
  • Build strong relationships with church leadership, ministry leaders, campuses, external partners, vendors, media organizations, and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in communications, marketing, branding, or public relations.
  • Proven experience in communication strategy, campaign management, brand management, and team leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of digital communication, social media, content development, and audience engagement.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in a church, nonprofit, or mission-driven organization is an advantage.
  • Professional certification or a Master’s degree in a related field is an advantage.

Pay: ₦700,000.00 - ₦900,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lagos
