About the Role

Aphro Gang Designs is seeking a highly creative Video Editor & Motion Graphics Designer to produce engaging short-form and long-form content for brands, businesses, and creators.

The ideal candidate combines strong editing skills with motion design expertise, creating visually compelling content that captures attention, improves retention, and drives engagement across digital platforms.

Responsibilities

* Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
* Edit long-form content including YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, webinars, and promotional content.
* Create high-quality motion graphics for digital campaigns and video content.
* Animate text, icons, logos, illustrations, UI elements, and graphic assets.
* Design engaging title sequences, lower thirds, callouts, transitions, and animated visual effects.
* Add captions, sound design, music, and visual enhancements where necessary.
* Optimize videos for audience retention and platform-specific performance.
* Collaborate with designers, marketers, and content strategists to execute creative concepts.
* Maintain consistency across all client brands and campaigns.
* Meet strict project deadlines and turnaround requirements.

Requirements

* Proven experience in professional video editing.
* Strong motion graphics and animation skills.
* Ability to animate typography, icons, logos, illustrations, and graphical elements.
* Experience creating social media content optimized for engagement and conversions.
* Experience editing both short-form and long-form content.
* Ability to deliver projects within 2–5 business days depending on project scope.
* Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual communication.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
