Job summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Medical Officer to provide comprehensive medical care to patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health education, and follow-up care while working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and obtain detailed medical histories.
  • Diagnose and manage common medical conditions.
  • Develop appropriate treatment and care plans.
  • Prescribe medications and provide clear instructions to patients.
  • Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment when necessary.
  • Request and interpret laboratory and other diagnostic investigations.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
  • Provide health education and preventive healthcare advice.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Collaborate with nurses, laboratory staff, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and healthcare standards.
