About the Role

We are looking for qualified and experienced French-speaking Medical Doctors to join our teleconsultation team serving patients in Ivory Coast and Senegal.

The selected doctors will conduct online consultations, assess patients' medical concerns, provide appropriate medical advice and treatment recommendations, and guide patients on further investigations or referrals whenever required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct professional and patient-focused teleconsultations in French.
• Take detailed medical history and assess patients' symptoms.
• Provide appropriate diagnosis and treatment recommendations within the scope of practice.
• Review medical reports, prescriptions, and investigation results shared by patients.
• Prescribe medications where legally permitted and clinically appropriate.
• Identify cases requiring emergency care, physical examination, specialist consultation, or hospital referral.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient consultation records.
• Follow appropriate medical, ethical, and telemedicine standards.
• Ensure clear communication with patients and explain treatment plans in an easy-to-understand manner.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with applicable healthcare and data-protection requirements.
• Coordinate with the internal medical/operations team when required.
• Participate in scheduled consultation slots and maintain punctuality.

Eligibility & Requirements

• MBBS / Doctor of Medicine or equivalent medical qualification.
• Valid medical registration/licence to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Fluent French communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in General Medicine / Family Medicine / Primary Care will be preferred.
• Prior experience in telemedicine or teleconsultation is an advantage.
• Good clinical judgement and ability to assess patients remotely.
• Comfortable using computers, smartphones, video consultation platforms, and digital medical records.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, empathetic, and patient-centric approach.
• Ability to work independently while following clinical protocols.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in doctors who:

• Are currently practising in Ivory Coast or Senegal.
• Are registered with the respective Medical Council/Ordre des Médecins.
• Have experience handling outpatient/general medical consultations.
• Are comfortable providing consultations entirely in French.
• Have reliable internet connectivity and a quiet, professional environment for online consultations.
• Can commit to fixed or mutually agreed consultation hours.

Working Hours

• Flexible / Part-time consultation slots.
• Consultation schedules will be mutually agreed upon based on doctor availability and patient demand.
• Doctors may be required to provide consultations during evening/weekend slots, depending on patient requirements.

Compensation

Compensation: To be discussed based on experience, availability, and consultation volume.

Note: Candidates must meet the applicable legal and professional requirements for medical practice in the relevant country. Medical registration requirements should be verified before onboarding. In Côte d’Ivoire, the medical regulator states that medical practice is reserved for appropriately qualified doctors registered with the Ordre des Médecins; Senegal also requires registration with its medical order.
