Medical Laboratory Technician
Job Overview
CrownBak Health Medical Clinic & Laboratory is seeking a competent and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, processing patient specimens, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring the delivery of accurate and reliable test results in accordance with established quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, label, process, and prepare patient specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Verify, document, and report test results accurately and promptly.
- Conduct quality control procedures and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
- Monitor reagent and consumable inventory levels and report shortages.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment and resolving technical issues.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and professional development activities.
Requirements
- Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Relevant professional certification or registration where applicable.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and safety standards.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment and analyzers.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and laboratory documentation.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and occasional weekends as required.
Location
Lekki, Lagos.
Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month
