Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Salary: ₦500,000 Monthly

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing high-quality medical care, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and clinical assessments.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
  • Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Request, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and investigations.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
  • Provide health education and preventive care advice to patients.
  • Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions when required.
  • Ensure compliance with established clinical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
  • Valid practising licence.
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records and healthcare technology is an added advantage.
