Full job description

SKLD Integrated Services is seeking an experienced In-House Legal Counsel Officer to provide hands-on corporate, commercial, regulatory, and legal risk support across our business operations.

Location: Lagos
Level: Senior Manager
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advisory support to the CEO and senior leadership.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, SLAs, MOUs, NDAs, and other legal documents.
  • Manage legal risks, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Coordinate external counsel, litigation, legal notices, and regulatory matters.
  • Maintain statutory records, filings, corporate documentation, and contract registers.
  • Support HR, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and Internal Control on legal matters.
  • Strengthen legal compliance, data protection, and governance frameworks.

Requirements

  • LL.B and Call to the Nigerian Bar (B.L) required.
  • Minimum 5 years post-call experience in corporate/commercial law.
  • Strong experience in contract/SLA review, legal advisory, compliance, and corporate governance.
  • Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate, commercial, labour, regulatory, and contract law.
  • LL.M or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
