We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher who is also good in Mathematics, to deliver engaging and effective science and mathematics instruction to students. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and help students develop a strong understanding of scientific and mathematical concepts through practical and theoretical learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver well-structured science lessons in line with the approved curriculum
  • Teach scientific and mathematical concepts using age-appropriate methods, experiments, and demonstrations
  • Assess, record, and report students’ progress through tests, assignments, and observations
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating learning environment, especially during practical sessions
  • Prepare students for internal and external examinations where applicable
  • Develop lesson plans, schemes of work, and teaching materials
  • Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive student conduct
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding students’ progress and behavior
  • Support extracurricular science and math activities such as clubs, fairs, or competitions

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related science or mathematics field
  • Teaching qualification (TRCN registration is an advantage)
  • 1-3 years experience teaching science at the relevant grade level
  • Strong knowledge of scientific principles and teaching methodologies
  • Good classroom management and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct science experiments and practical lessons in science and math.
  • Strong understanding of STEM
  • Passion for teaching and student development

  • Basic computer skills for lesson planning and record keeping
