Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Laboratory Scientist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accurate and timely laboratory tests on patient samples to support diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests.

* Analyze biological samples (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) to detect abnormalities and diseases

* Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments

* Validate and interpret test results before reporting to physicians

* Ensure accuracy of results through quality control and assurance procedures

* Maintain proper documentation, records, and laboratory reports

* Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

* Monitor inventory and manage laboratory supplies and reagents

* Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

* Supervise laboratory assistants or technicians where necessary

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS).

* Valid practicing license from MLSCN.

* Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant laboratory experience.

* Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, diagnostic techniques, and equipment

* Familiarity with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS).

* Good understanding of quality assurance and laboratory safety standards
