About the Role

Folixx Bukka is seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Operations Manager to serve as the central control officer of the business, ensuring all operational units function as one synchronized engine.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for protecting sales, stock, cost efficiency, product quality, speed of service, customer experience, and reporting discipline across every shift. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence and ensure the business consistently contributes to the group's ₦1 billion monthly revenue target.

Job Summary

The Operations Manager will provide end-to-end oversight of all operational departments, ensuring seamless coordination between Procurement, Receiving, Stores, Batching, Kitchen, Quality Control, Front of House, Customer Service, Dispatch, Cashier, Audit, Maintenance, Security, and HR operations.

The role requires a strong operator with exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills who can identify operational gaps before they impact financial performance.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & Control

  • Provide end-to-end management of all operational units and ensure cross-functional alignment.
  • Ensure all departments operate efficiently and adhere to company policies and standards.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Production & Inventory Management

  • Ensure daily production readiness and availability of high-demand menu items before peak periods.
  • Oversee stock management, replenishment processes, and stock-out prevention strategies.
  • Monitor procurement, receiving, and store operations to ensure inventory accuracy and accountability.

Kitchen & Quality Management

  • Ensure compliance with recipe specifications, portion control, and production standards.
  • Monitor yield management and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Oversee quality control processes to maintain product consistency and food safety standards.

Customer Experience & Service Delivery

  • Ensure exceptional customer experiences across dine-in, online, and delivery channels.
  • Monitor customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution and service recovery.
  • Oversee dispatch operations to maintain delivery efficiency and service quality.

Financial & Commercial Control

  • Monitor cashier operations, POS accuracy, and third-party platform reconciliations.
  • Ensure closure of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Drive cost control initiatives and identify areas of operational leakage.

Workforce Planning & Performance Management

  • Coordinate weekly staff rosters and daily manpower planning to ensure optimal staffing levels.
  • Collaborate with HR on workforce scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop operational teams to achieve business objectives.

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide timely operational insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' senior operations management experience within QSR, Food & Beverage, or multi-department hospitality operations.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, production planning, and restaurant operations.
  • Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple departments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and KPI management.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of operational cost management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting systems.
  • Lagos-based or willing to relocate.
