Job Summary:
A Front Desk Officer serves as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and guests. The role involves managing reception activities, handling inquiries, coordinating appointments, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a professional image of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and attend to visitors, guests, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Manage appointments, bookings, and schedules.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and correspondence.
  • Provide information about the company's services, products, or facilities.
  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure proper sign-in procedures.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative role is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.

Working Conditions:

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative role is preferred.
