Job Summary

A fast-growing renewable energy and solar solutions business is seeking to hire a diligent and reliable Stock Controller to manage inventory records, monitor stock movement, conduct stock counts, reconcile physical stock with system records, and support effective warehouse and stock control.

The ideal candidate must be honest, organized, detail-oriented and experienced in handling product-based inventory. Experience with solar, electrical, electronics, engineering or technical products will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record all stock receipts, issues, transfers, returns and adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate physical and electronic inventory records.
  • Track stock items such as inverters, batteries, solar panels, cables, accessories, tools and spare parts.
  • Verify goods received against purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes.
  • Ensure stock is issued only based on approved requisitions.
  • Monitor stock issued for sales, installations, repairs, projects and customer orders.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts.
  • Reconcile physical stock with system records and inventory registers.
  • Investigate stock variances, shortages and discrepancies.
  • Prepare daily, weekly and monthly stock reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation of stock receipts, issues, balances, returns, damages and adjustments.
  • Ensure warehouse/store area is clean, secure, organized and properly labelled.
  • Report suspected theft, pilferage, unauthorized stock movement or misuse immediately.
  • Work with procurement, accounts, warehouse, sales, technical and operations teams.

Requirements

  • OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Purchasing and Supply, Inventory Management, Logistics, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse operations or storekeeping.
  • Strong stock recording, reconciliation and reporting skills.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Inventory software or ERP experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with solar, electrical, electronics, engineering or technical products is an advantage.
  • Must be honest, disciplined, organized and accountable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
