Customer Service Representative – Beauty Store

Job Summary

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who is friendly, confident, patient, and passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to customers across our physical and online channels, providing product information, processing orders, resolving complaints, and ensuring customers receive prompt and professional assistance.

Key Responsibilities

* Attend to customers professionally and courteously via WhatsApp, Instagram, phone calls, and in-store enquiries.

* Respond promptly to customer questions, enquiries, complaints, and feedback.

* Provide accurate information about our beauty products, prices, availability, promotions, and policies.

* Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable products based on their preferences and requirements.

* Convert customer enquiries into sales while maintaining a helpful and non-pushy approach.

* Process customer orders accurately and follow up on orders from confirmation through delivery.

* Coordinate with the sales, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered efficiently.

* Follow up with customers after purchases where necessary to ensure satisfaction.

* Handle complaints professionally and resolve customer issues promptly.

* Escalate complex issues to the appropriate supervisor or department when necessary.

* Keep accurate records of customer enquiries, orders, complaints, and feedback.

* Follow up on abandoned or pending orders where required.

* Maintain good knowledge of the company’s products and stay updated on new products and promotions.

* Maintain a professional and positive attitude when interacting with customers.

* Help build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases.

* Perform other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

* Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, or a similar role is an advantage.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Good knowledge of WhatsApp, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to recommend and sell products confidently.

* Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

* Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Must be attentive to details and able to accurately process customer orders.

* Must be patient, polite, proactive, and approachable.

* Must be a good team player and willing to learn.

* Knowledge or interest in beauty, skincare, makeup, or cosmetics is an added advantage.
