Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SME Loan Officer (Collateral) to join our lending team. The role focuses on sourcing, appraising, and processing collateral-secured SME loans, conducting thorough collateral. This position combines business development, credit analysis, and field-based collateral inspection.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Source and onboard quality SME clients requiring collateral-secured loans through direct marketing, referrals, networking, and relationship management.
  • Conduct detailed collateral appraisal and valuation
  • Inspect and assess proposed collateral.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for loan origination, disbursement, and portfolio quality.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Loan Officer in Lagos Nigeria.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management, especially fixed-income/deposit-like products (LiteFi Wealth).
  • Proven success leveraging existing networks for sales.
  • Good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Awareness of the Nigerian financial market.
  • Ethical and client-focused.
  • Proficient with CRM and standard software.
