Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Maitama, Abuja

Hours: Monday – Saturday (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Flexibility required depending on project stage.

Salary:₦500,000 Monthly

Job Objective:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, high-value construction projects from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, coordinating stakeholders, managing timelines and budgets, ensuring quality delivery, and driving projects to successful completion whilst maintaining operational excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, project coordination, stakeholder management, budgeting, and on-site supervision experience within construction or project delivery environments.

Qualifications:

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Lead end-to-end project coordination across all stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and delivery schedules
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and objectives
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, architectural, procurement, and site teams

Budget Management & Cost Control

  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost efficiency throughout project execution
  • Track project expenditure and manage resource allocation effectively
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality standards
  • Ensure proper financial planning and reporting throughout the project lifecycle

Design & Technical Coordination

  • Coordinate design activities across all project disciplines
  • Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and approved designs
  • Work closely with consultants, engineers, and architects to resolve technical issues

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Oversee procurement planning and supplier coordination
  • Liaise with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with project standards
  • Support negotiation and management of vendor agreements where required

Construction Oversight & Quality Control

  • Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure quality and compliance
  • Monitor project progress and address operational challenges proactively
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Conduct regular site inspections and performance evaluations

Risk Management & Problem Solving

  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Manage project changes, variations, and scope adjustments effectively
  • Resolve operational and technical issues that may impact project delivery
  • Ensure proactive decision-making to maintain project momentum

Reporting & Documentation Management

  • Prepare structured project reports and progress updates for stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and communication logs
  • Ensure proper documentation of project milestones, approvals, and variations
  • Oversee project handover and closeout documentation

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

  • Timely completion of project milestones
  • Adherence to approved project budgets
  • Quality of project delivery and compliance standards
  • Reduction in project delays and operational risks
  • Effectiveness of stakeholder coordination and communication
  • Accuracy and completeness of project documentation

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
  • Professional certifications are an added advantage but not mandatory
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, high-value projects from concept through to completion
  • Strong background in construction and project delivery environments
  • Excellent project planning, coordination, and organisational skills
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost management ability
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and quality control standards
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong on-site supervision and project coordination capability required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
