KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEnterprise Revenue & Growth Strategy

• Develop and execute the organization’s annual and multi-year revenue growth strategy.
• Own total business development revenue performance across teams.
• Identify and drive expansion into new markets, sectors, and service lines.
• Establish pricing frameworks and commercial policies.
• Ensure profitable revenue growth aligned with company financial goals.

Leadership & Governance of BD Function

• Lead and oversee Business Development Managers and Team Leads.
• Define performance standards, KPIs, and growth benchmarks.
• Drive a culture of accountability, high performance, and commercial discipline.
• Oversee succession planning and talent development within the BD team.
• Ensure alignment between BD, operations, finance, and executive leadership.

Strategic Client Acquisition & Partnerships

• Lead acquisition of enterprise-level and high-value clients.
• Manage strategic partnerships and corporate alliances.
• Engage with C-suite and executive-level stakeholders.
• Oversee negotiation of complex, high-value contracts.
• Strengthen the firm’s reputation and brand positioning within the market.

Commercial Oversight & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor overall revenue pipeline health and forecasting accuracy.
• Review conversion metrics, sales performance trends, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with internal commercial governance policies.
• Approve high-value proposals and commercial offers.
• Report performance metrics to executive leadership and board (where applicable).

Market Intelligence & Strategic Insight

• Conduct high-level industry and competitor analysis.
• Identify long-term growth opportunities and diversification strategies.
• Guide service innovation based on market demand.
• Contribute to corporate strategic planning initiatives.
• Position the company as a market leader within its sector.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• MBA or advanced business qualification is an advantage.
• 8+ years experience in business development or commercial leadership.
• Minimum 5 years in senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing multi-level BD teams.
• Demonstrated success in securing high-value corporate contracts.
• Experience in consulting, outsourcing, payroll, HR services, or professional services preferred.
• Basic understanding or proficiency in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office Tools.
• Strong communication, positive attitude, collaborative mindset and open to feedback.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail, presentation & problem solving skills, proactive, reliable and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
• Time management. Willingness to learn and ability to meet deadlines
• Professionalism, integrity and confidentiality with the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and integrity.

Pay: ₦800,000.00 - ₦950,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Lagos (Lagos)
