Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or another relevant discipline.
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Professional qualification such as Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), CFA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Must meet applicable SEC and capital market regulatory requirements for the position.
  • Minimum of 12–15 years' experience within investment banking, securities brokerage, stockbroking, capital markets, asset management or related financial services.
  • At least 7 years of senior management or executive leadership experience within a regulated financial institution.
  • Demonstrable track record in growing brokerage, securities trading, institutional relationships and/or capital markets businesses.
  • Strong experience working with institutional investors, HNIs, corporates and other sophisticated market participants.
  • Proven knowledge of the Nigerian capital markets, NGX operations and securities trading environment.
  • Experience with financial advisory, corporate finance, capital raising or investment banking transactions is highly desirable.
