Full job description

LOCATION: LEKKI PHASE 1

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Chartered Accountant to oversee our financial operations. You will manage financial reporting, lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards (such as IFRS or GAAP), and mentor junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and budget variances.
  • Compliance & Auditing: Coordinate internal and external audits, manage tax filings, and ensure strict compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
  • General Ledger & Reconciliations: Review journal entries, reconcile balance sheet/general ledger accounts, and maintain clean financial ledgers.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in financial planning, cash flow monitoring, revenue projections, and expenditure forecasting.
  • Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification: Active Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
  • Experience: 3 to 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS and tax compliance laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, leadership potential, and high attention to detail.

Pay: ₦600,000.00 - ₦800,000.00 per month
