CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT
The Baddie Lab | Lekki Phase 1, Lagos | Full-time, Hybrid
Schedule: 3 days on site, 2 days from home
Pay: ₦550,000 to ₦650,000 per month (net, after PAYE)


ABOUT US
The Baddie Lab is a luxury American medspa with locations in Atlanta and Lagos. We are HEFAMAA-certified and known for medical weight loss, IV nutrient therapy, laser and skin treatments. We are also a technology-first medspa. We build our own apps and use AI and automation across the business in ways most workplaces have not tried yet. We need a Chartered Accountant who is sharp, accurate and ready to run modern, digital finance.


ABOUT THE ROLE
You will own the day-to-day finance work for our Lagos clinic and report directly to the Managing Director. This is a hands-on, hybrid role: 3 days a week on site and 2 days from home. On your home days, you must be online and available during full work hours. You will make sure every naira is recorded, reconciled and reported on time, and you will help us build smarter finance systems as we grow.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Reconcile daily revenue across POS, bank transfers and cash against clinic sales records

  • Record client checkouts, payments, packages and deposits accurately in our clinic software

  • Keep the books in QuickBooks (or similar): entries, chart of accounts and monthly close

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow reports and revenue reports

  • Prepare monthly payroll and keep payroll records

  • Prepare VAT, PAYE and withholding tax schedules for management review

  • Manage accounts payable: vendor bills, supplier payments and equipment installments, in naira and US dollars

  • Track stock costs and support inventory counts with the operations team

  • Build and maintain budgets, forecasts and cost controls

  • Set up and enforce strong internal controls to prevent revenue leakage

  • Support audits and keep all finance records digital and paperless

  • Keep all financial, staff and client information strictly confidential


WHAT YOU NEED

  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  • At least 3 years of accounting experience, ideally in a service business with daily cash and POS sales

  • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian VAT, PAYE and withholding tax rules

  • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills

  • Detail-focused, honest and discreet, with excellent written and spoken English

  • A reliable laptop, steady internet and power at home for your remote days

  • You must live on Lagos Island (Lekki, Ajah, Victoria Island, Ikoyi or nearby). We will not consider applicants who live on the Mainland.

  • Exceptional tech skills. You learn new software fast and can build trackers, dashboards and automations yourself

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools at work, with real examples you can show us

  • A sharp, problem-solving mind with fresh ideas to make finance faster and more accurate


NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in healthcare, beauty, hospitality, retail or luxury service

  • Experience with multi-currency (naira and US dollar) transactions

  • Experience setting up or cleaning up an accounting system


WORK SCHEDULE

  • Tuesday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. Sunday and Monday off.

  • On site: 3 days a week.

  • From home: 2 days a week. You must be online, reachable and responsive from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm on these days.
