JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Contract Cook

Employment Type: Contract / Event-Based

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Reports To: Head Cook

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, reliable and hygienic Contract Cook to support the preparation of meals for food packs, bulk orders, corporate meals, private events and catering engagements.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare meals according to approved recipes, menus, quantities and portion standards.

* Cook Nigerian and other menu items while maintaining consistent taste and quality.

* Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness at all times.

* Assist with food packing, portioning and presentation when required.

* Manage ingredients responsibly and minimize food wastage.

* Clean and properly maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.

* Work efficiently under pressure, especially during large orders and events.

* Work cooperatively with kitchen assistants and other catering staff.

* Report ingredient shortages, food spoilage, equipment

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦200,000.00 per month
