Optiva Capital Partners are seeking a highly analytical, strategic, and analytical Business Partner/Data Analyst to support organizational growth and operational excellence through data-driven decision-making, business intelligence, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business performance, interpreting complex data sets, identifying trends and opportunities, and providing actionable insights that support strategic planning and overall business objectives. The Business Partner/Data Analyst will work closely with management and various departments to monitor key performance indicators, improve reporting structures, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves transforming raw data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and presentations that support executive decision-making and enhance organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and a solid understanding of business operations and performance metrics. They should also be capable of balancing technical data analysis with strategic business partnership by constantly identifying business challenges, recommending practical solutions, and supporting the implementation of data backed strategies that improve productivity, profitability, and overall organizational performance. This role requires a professional who is proactive, business-minded, technologically proficient, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities with accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, interpret, and present business data to support organizational decision-making.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports and dashboards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
  • Identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities within business operations.
  • Generate actionable insights from data analysis.

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with department heads and management to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data findings.
  • Support leadership with business intelligence and operational insights.
  • Participate in strategic planning and performance review meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between business units and management

Process Improvement

  • Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvement strategies.
  • Support automation and optimization of reporting processes.
  • Assist in developing systems that improve workflow and productivity.
  • Track implementation and effectiveness of improvement initiatives.

Dashboard & Database Management

  • Develop and maintain dashboards using Excel, Power BI, Google Sheets, or other reporting tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Organize and maintain databases and reporting systems.
  • Support data cleansing and validation activities.

Forecasting & Strategic Support

  • Assist in workforce planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business projections.
  • Analyze market, operational, and performance trends.
  • Support business growth initiatives through research and analytics.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Present reports and findings to management in a clear and professional manner.
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and analytical reports for executive review.
  • Work closely with HR, Operations, Finance, Marketing, Recruitment, and other departments where necessary.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
  • Atleast NYSC discharge certificate/ Exemption letter.
  • 2–5 years experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, HR Analytics, Operations, or related roles.
  • Experience preparing reports and interpreting business data.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams is an added advantage.

Pay: From ₦650,000.00 per month
