Account Officer JD

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconciling bank statements and ensuring all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Managing petty cash and reconciling expenses.
  • Providing support to other members of the finance team as needed.

Account Officer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Officer or in a similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (Zohobooks & QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent professional qualification (desirable).
  • Experience in preparing financial statements (desirable).

Pay: ₦200,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month
